Mr. Willie Jefferson, whose spirit left this world on December 22, 2025, at the age of 69 surrounded by his loving family. Willie was a devoted husband, father, brother, cherished friend, and a beloved member of the community, whose memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing him. Willie's love for life was evident in his bright smile and gentle demeanor; he had a unique ability to uplift those around him, bringing laughter and joy in even the simplest moments. His unwavering support and love for his wife, Barbara Jefferson, exemplified the strength of their bond, serving as a testament to true companionship and partnership. Together, they built a family with their two girls, a life rich in shared memories and loving experiences.In celebration of Willie's life, we invite family, friends, and the community to join us for a funeral service that will honor his legacy. Services will be held at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Prior to the service, a public viewing will be available at the church from 12:00 PM, allowing all to pay their respects and share in the collective remembrance of this extraordinary man. A second public viewing will take place the evening before, on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM, at the Chapel of Angels Funeral Home in Laurel, MS, 39440, providing another opportunity for loved ones to come together in reflection over Willie's remarkable journey.Interment will be immediately following the celebration of life on December 27, 2025, where he will be laid to rest with dignity, surrounded by the love he cherished in life. As we gather to remember Willie, let us celebrate his life as one lived fully, filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
