A beacon of love, kindness, and strength, Shirley was born on January 6, 1942, and dedicated her life to uplifting those around her with her unwavering spirit.Shirley was a remarkable woman whose indomitable spirit touched the lives of countless individuals. Known for her warm smile and generous heart, she created a legacy of compassion that will continue to inspire generations. As a mother, grandmother, friend, mentor, and a pillow of her community , Shirley's influence was felt far and wide, as she passionately championed for justice, equality, and love in all her endeavors.In honoring her beautiful life, we invite you to join us for a Funeral Service at Koinonia Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will be held at the same location beginning at 9:00 a.m. Friends, family, and all who knew Shirley are welcome to celebrate her life, share memories, and reflect on the rich tapestry of her journey. Interment will be immediately followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Laurel MS.As we gather to honor Shirley's spirit, we embrace the love and laughter she brought into our lives.
