Robert Balentine, a beloved husband, father, grandfather,brother,uncle and friend, who left us peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 1, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on September 17, 1951, Robert lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was the devoted husband of Vanessa Balentine, with whom he shared countless adventures, building a life rich in kindness and laughter. He also has a devoted daughter Lorenda Abney who he cherished. Robert touched the lives of many with his warm spirit and unwavering support. His infectious smile and gentle nature will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. He was a man of great integrity, whose wisdom and guidance brought comfort to family and friends alike. As we reflect on his remarkable life, we celebrate the values he instilled in those around him-compassion, resilience, and a zest for life.A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at Chapel of Angels Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi, on October 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM, following a public viewing that will take place at 1:00 PM. We invite all who knew Robert to come and pay their respects and share in the celebration of his life.We encourage family and friends to gather and share their fondest memories of Robert, allowing his legacy of love to live on through our stories.
