Grace Keahey Crumbly July 15, 1933 - September 30, 2025 Mrs. Grace Keahey Crumbly, 92, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jones County on July 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Bennie and Mittie Ross Keahey. Grace was a graduate of Mt. Olive High School and attended Jones County Junior College. She married the late Eddie Daniel Crumbly, Sr., and together they raised seven children while traveling across the country and overseas during his Air Force career. After returning to Laurel, Grace worked as a teacher's assistant at Sandersville Elementary School for many years. A devoted member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, she faithfully served as President of the Deaconess Board, Director of the Sunday School Choir, Secretary of the Combined/Mass Choir, Sunday School teacher, and mentor. She was known for her kindness, her faith, her generosity, and her home cooking, which she gladly shared with all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Sr.; her son, Eddie Jr.; brothers Ernest, Ocie, and Roy; and sisters Bernice, Mattie, and Maycie. Grace leaves to cherish her memory six children, Beverly Cooper (late Rhett), Kenneth (Veronica), Michael (Jean), Darrell, Phillip (Ronnie), and Ronald (Kazumi); her sister Lessie Williams (late George); her brother Jerry W. Keahey Sr. (Vera); 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
