Born on November 2, 1962, Gilbert lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and an enduring spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a deep love for music and found great joy in playing his guitar.Family Hour will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00pm in the chapel of Chapel of Angels Funeral Home, Laurel MS, allowing family and friends an opportunity to reflect, share memories, and honor Gilbert's life. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 10:00a.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, located at 10247 CR 250, Vossburg MS.This service will serve as a tribute to a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who brought light and love into the lives of many.Interment will follow immediately after the service at Dubose Cemetery in Ellisville MS.As we remember Gilbert, we celebrate not only the life he lived but the joy and compassion he shared with others.
