It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Vaughn, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, who peacefully departed this life on June 3, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on March 26, 1943, Elizabeth dedicated her life to nurturing those around her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.A reflection of Elizabeth's life will take place at her funeral service, which will be held on June 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Christian Unity Baptist Church. The service will provide family and friends the opportunity to celebrate her life and the countless ways she touched the lives of others.Prior to the service, a public viewing will be available from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location, allowing those who wish to pay their respects to do so. Following the funeral service, Elizabeth's earthly journey will conclude with a burial at 4:00 PM, where she will be laid to rest among flowers and memories at Oak Hill Cemetery in Laurel, MsAs we gather to honor Elizabeth's extraordinary life, we invite everyone whose lives she enriched to join us in reflection and celebration of her unwavering spirit. She will remain forever in our hearts.
