Born on October 8, 1950, Bernice embodied a spirit of compassion and wisdom that touched the lives of countless students and colleagues throughout her esteemed career as an educator.A proud graduate who earned her Bachelor's Degree, Bernice devoted herself to the Laurel School District, where her passion for teaching illuminated the paths of many young minds. Known for her gentle guidance, she fostered a love of learning that instilled confidence in her students and remained a cherished influence long after they left her classroom.To celebrate the remarkable life of Bernice Woodland, a memorial service will be held at the East Laurel Church of Christ on December 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Friends, family, and all whose lives she enriched are invited to gather in remembrance and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Together, we will reflect on her profound impact, sharing stories that highlight her kindness, her strength, and the light she brought into our lives.As the community comes together to celebrate her life, we remember not only the sorrow of her passing but also the joy she shared with us all.
